10kfreemen is the alias of Tom Gilmore, an Australian chiptune artist. Tom began making Game Boy music in early 2007 with very little exposure to the world of chiptune. His early minimalistic style developed with his exposure and increased involvement with the scene, along with the development of a live show to express himself to new audiences and expose a new genre of music to an unaware Sydney, Australia.

Alex Yabsley aka Dot.AY has long been in search of a musical form that can be highly experimental and creatively satisfying whilst being accessible and dance friendly, he believes Chiptunes are what he was born to make. The key component of Dot.AY’s work is based in live performance this has developed into regular live shows in and around Brisbane as well as supporting international acts such as Crystal Castles, Girl Talk and Dan Deacon. His music juxtaposes hard fast noise with cute melodies all the time maintaining a high energy vibe, like a photon powered mech-warrior with pokemon tattoos.

where they played a gig as part of the TINA gigs programme.
They played a gig at the Rosemount hotel the day after they got back.

Chrism&Fenris are playing tonight at the funk club (leederville hotel
upstairs). They drop the science at 22:30. Entry is seven bucks if you

Chrism and Fenris are playing at mojos tonight at 10pm. Entry is five bucks
and other bands are: Your youth will punish you like a milkless fridge,
The soviet valves, and Simon Sieradzki.
Tommorrow night they're playing this Amnesty International gig which is
at the old amplifier bar whatever it's called now. There's a CD launch
out the back for some other band so don't go to the wrong gig. The Amnesty
one is a big multi room thing and they're playing at 8pm in the courtyard
area. I think entry is $15 and there's a bunch of other bands like Ten
speed racer and Adam said galore and The tigers, and a drum and bass room
and another room with hip hop stuff and percussion.
Their gameboy cartridge died and they had to reprogram a bunch of their
old songs in all different so they'll be playing a fresh new set.
